Peter Foggo Associates was formed in 1989, by the design team led by Peter Foggo. The team had previously worked together as a group at Arup Associates and were responsible for a number of award winning projects, including the Gateway Buildings 1 & 2 at Basingstoke, 123 Buckingham Palace Road in Westminster, No1 Finsbury Avenue and Broadgate Phases 1-4 in the City of London.

The new practice quickly gained a reputation for designing innovative commercial schemes, clearly demonstrating the benefits of the fully integrated multi-disciplinary design team. The economic climate in the early 1990's meant that none of these early schemes were constructed prior to Peter Foggo's untimely death in 1993.

Projects for business parks in Brno, in the Czech Republic and Leeds, both won through architectural competitions, enabled the practice to continue to develop. The Leeds project in particular enhanced the firm's reputation for innovative low energy building design.
The practice's recent workload has been concentrated in the London commercial office sector.
